Futsal

Hello my name is Baset and i'm going to tell you about my Futsal experience today. Hope you like it! So today with our Futsal coach / Grace we played a game of Futsal and traffic light. I had a lot of fun with my team of four and it was amazing! In the 4th round my teammate accidentally put it in our goal. He said that he's bad, But I said at least we tried and our other teammates agreed. I was still very happy to play futsal and grateful that Grace, used her time with us.

My Self - Portrait Writing

So one day I was working on my bee slides when suddenly, my teacher said "Who wants to make a doc of how we made our amazing self portraits!" I put my hand up straight away. So she picked one of my classmates. In my mind I said, Come on please choose me and she did! Whooh, I was a lucky one! So first she said, "sit on the jellybean table," so we did sit there with my classmate. We first made a google doc, Me and my classmate worked on the introduction and information about how we can get our self portraits. Our teacher even put the self portraits in the corridor. I helped my teacher put the self portraits up. She even took a picture of me pointing at my writing. Here's the picture. But sadly my one isn't up there!

ALL ABOARD KUPE!

One day this Polynesian man named Kupe, was resting until he found out some news! The super active Maui and his mates found some new land. Kupe jumped as high as a crazy monkey with springs on its legs. Kupe said “are you lying?” Maui disagreed. Kupe believed him so he packed his stuff and left with his wife, Kuramarotini. So Kupe went on his dangerous and mysterious journey. Dark mist blew past their ears, but Kupe was laughing, for some reason Maui did something funny. Maui pulled out his tongue and pulled his ears. Kupe was childish in humour, then he said “I could laugh for a billion years!!!!” As he laughed. Ok, Kupe now went on his Vaka [boat]. He went and he used the stars, the sun, clouds, the sky, ocean swells and birds to navigate. He was on the way, but suddenly a HUGE storm rushed against the ocean. It hit the boat like a shotgun. Kupe was tired and decided to drop his grandfather's sacred anchor stone. He was so tired that he said “I could sleep until the big bang.” So he slept with his wife in the boat's cabin. The next day there was a grumble, GRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! It's Kupes belly!“ ugh i’m so hungry I could eat a million cows.” So he got some really warm food. Then he got really thirsty. Kupe said “ I’m so thirsty that I could drink the whole pacific ocean.” So he got some cold and fresh water. Kupe picked up the anchor and headed to his journey. After a loooooooooong time he finally reached Aotearoa [New Zealand] Kupe’s wife said “He Ao Tea Roa!” A long white cloud! So now NZ is known as the land of the long white cloud. Kupe was as glad as a mother finding her baby.
