Watching The Olympics

 30.7.21

Olympics

"Who wants to watch the Olympics" Said the teacher. Me! Everyone shouted loudly. " Then lets watch the gymnastics." Fwoosh, Woah. USA is competing in the Gymnastics. Hmmmm, to be honest this relates to maths. The amount of friction and gravity all sums up. We can also bring in science. Measurements, rotation, skill and workouts. They must have been practising since they were kids. WOW, that bar spin was amazing. 720º flip backwards. Its all INCREDIBLE, with their movements, momentum and skill. HOW GOOD ARE THESE GYMNASTS!!! *gets surprised* another one. 360º back onto the lower bar. I couldn't even compete against these people for 1 second! But now its time for Breast stroke swimming. We have a lot of countries. The competers just started. They are like going up and down then getting more and more momentum. This is super duper cool. Now they are on the 2nd lap, splash someone almost bet a WORLD RECORD by 2 seconds! This is super unbelievable. Now its the 2nd round of swimming and other people are competing. Now their swimming, FWOOSH. Now we're onto rowing. Their using a lot of force. UK almost won the race. I really like the Olympics!

  1. Kia Ora Baset. I can feel the excitement you feel towards gymnastics and I notice that you were able to link it to two areas of your learning. I notice you use some wonderful vocabulary, keep that up! I wonder if next time you could structure you paragraphs to make the flow of the text smoother.
